The Self-Support Service Shwe Nyar Myay (SNM) Association is proud to celebrate the launch of its HP Learning Initiative for Entrepreneurs (HP LIFE) training center for aspiring entrepreneurs in Myaung township, Sagaing Region. The e-learning center is implemented through a partnership between the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Indiana University Kelley School of Business. USAID’s Advancement and Development through Entrepreneurship Programs and Training’s (ADEPT) is a three-year program supporting the success of micro, small and medium enterprises through information and communication technology (ICT)-led education programs.
The training center is equipped with the latest HP technology and classroom solutions, including the HP LIFE, a program of the HP Foundation, (http://www.life-global.org/go/snm), to encourage and educate promising entrepreneurs from the Sagaing Region by providing access to the real-world ICT and business skills training needed to start up or grow a business.
“We are very proud of this great opportunity for the people in Sagaing to access essential knowledge and skills for their professional development through IT trainings and HP LIFE courses, “said Than Htay. “SNM will provide not only the HP LIFE curriculum but also trainings on much needed ICT skills for the local community to improve the region’s micro, small and medium enterprises.”
