In partnership with Cuso International (http://www.cusointernational.org/) MBE has invited Mr. Maarten Ingen-Housz, expert in Monitoring and evaluation (M&E) and currently working with Network Activities Group, Equality Myanmar and Mynmar CESD (Center for economic and Social Development), to give an M&E workshop on Wednesday January 21st 2015.

This is the start and part of MBE’s new mid term effort to improve the evaluation of its activities and programs, understand better its impact in order to better plan and design its future initiatives.

The workshop was very constructive and helped build ground for the improvement of MBE’s M&E structure and strategy.

A second and final workshop will be held on February 17th which will finalize an action plan for building such structure and strategy.

Monitoring and Evaluation (Second and Final workshop)

Our second workshop was also a success! And an important step in the
evolution of MBE. Staff and members came to BCB and discussed
thoroughly our new objectives within each of MBE core sectors
(Education, Responsible Business Development and Social
Development/Microfinance). Most importantly, following the first M&E
workshop but also following our MBE Members Survey done in  November
2014, a new Mission and Vision was discussed.

We would like to thank Mister Maarten Ingen-Houszand and Florestan
Fillon for very insightful workshops, and also all the participants
for making them very interactive and constructive discussions!
